Nikolay Karelin: "Slow Python: Myth or Curse"

Description

Slow Python: Myth or Curse

There is quite a common sense that Python, being interpreted language, is inherently slow. In this talk, I’ll explain when and why Python can be slow, and how to make it faster, including simple compilation of the Python code into native one.
