PiterPy in social media
Greetings, dear colleagues!
There are a lot of people behind the biggest conferences. This one, too! We do our best to be more social. But that’s never enough!
We use a wide range of modern communication services to get this point and it is always possible to get to know us better in the way you like more. Just look at all of this stuff!
- The first of all we absolutely love the reliability and because of that we use a classic variant - Email. If you agree - send your email at org@piterpy.com, we’ll get on well.
- The second - have no doubt, we’ve got a Facebook account. We thought that it is more than OK to post in English. Facebook more than a social network but international dialogue site. There is a lot of some cool stuff: articles, speaker announcements, programme change news, something about preparation process, and just some thoughts and feelings. You can rejoice, be sad and live with us here: https://www.facebook.com/PiterPyConf.
- Facebook’s younger brother - Instagram! There is no such a difference between this one and Facebook, most posts in English, too (in Russian too, but less often). The post are shorter, you should look, a text here is just for right context. You are welcome If you want to feel like we feel Look a bit: https://www.instagram.com/piterpyconf.
- If something is not in trends - it is Twitter. But we want to believe. Twitter is more than popular with the Western IT-Community, and it is necessary to be familiar with fresh thoughts, ideas, announcements and dialogues. We’re going to start a fire, too! We have a plan to tweet in two languages but it will be in English only. We retweet something topical and interesting about Python of course. To be sure: https://twitter.com/piterpy.
- We’ve got an official “VK” page. In secret: there is the same content that in Facebook but in Russian! It is clear that the community is less wide and more local but it’s still a pretty popular resource so it would be silly to forget about it. To get contact with us: https://vk.com/piterpy.
- The most progressive, fearless and brave guys there are Telegram (officialy blocked in Russia, of course) channel and chat. The chat is for true cyber warriors (with holywars and community - https://t.me/PiterPy), the channel is for introverts (and, come on, we’ve got no time to explain, read only mode - https://t.me/PiterPy_channel).
- Life is a movement, we try to catch the movement and save it. And we want to give you a bit of live on YouTube. It is a repository of all of our vids from conferences and #DevTalkRu series - interviews with speakers and participants of conference - talking about Python and some. Look at this: https://www.youtube.com/c/piterpyconf.
Surely we have official hashtag #PiterPy :)
